Unchecking the box will mean a meeting has no limit. On iOS 13 devices I assume the setting "Siri Suggestions" does the same thing. In truth I don't know whether any of these steps will actually block this spam or it's just the start of another whack-a-mole battle with spammers like it is with popup ads that seem to survive or morph into different forms to evade whatever extra-strength popupicide you spray them with. Sloppy programmers, poor application and operating system hygiene, and legacy security cluelessness has created a fertile breeding group for these cyber-roaches. I really do wish the authorities could track down the actual person or persons behind these infestations and prosecute them viciously. Keelhauling seems like an appropriate punishment.

If they accept the invitation to attend, the meeting is added to their calendar.If distribution lists are added as meeting attendees (Figure 4), their membership is expanded to find the individual members and notifications are sent to those recipients to allow them to join the meeting. The notifications are like any other meeting notification and allow the recipient to decide if they will attend the meeting. Make sure you know who’s included in a Microsoft 365 group or distribution list before you add these objects to meeting invitations.It is possible to enable all team members to receive invitations for channel meetings. If you don’t, they still might attend the meeting, but only if they notice that the meeting is on in the channel when it’s in progress. If you want to be sure that someone knows about a channel meeting, add them as a meeting participant. Yammer can use Microsoft 365 Groups to manage the membership of Yammer communities, and the members of those groups might not use email and never see the invitation. With large modules and hundreds of students in tutorials, it’s not practical to individually address every Teams meeting for tutorials held in channels and crucial that these are notified in student’s calendars.
